January 23rd - Meyer lemon

fenchurcheYesterday we were at Home Depot to get a few things and spotted a display filled with Meyer lemon trees. They were all flowering and several even had ripening fruit! Today I figured it would be worth getting a shot of it with fruit, since there's the strong possibility it'll never happen again, despite our best efforts.
Sunny indoor plant.
Apparently, they do fairly well outdoors here during the summer... but have to spend pretty much the rest of the year in the house. We're going to work to keep this one dwarf-sized and are hoping we'll manage to get more fruit out of it... or at least more flowers, since it smells fantastic!
