Mountain from the air

Sunday was a surprisingly beautiful day in the Seattle area, although of course the clouds started rolling in just in time to cover the views just as we were leaving...
Mount Rainier

This didn't turn out too badly, considering I was just using my point and shoot camera through the multiple panes of the airplane window.
But before that, we got to have a nice extended wait at the airport, since our flight was delayed about 45 minutes. Not a total loss, though! Southwest and Microsoft were sponsoring free photos with Santa at the next gate down.
Bonus photo with Santa!

Obviously, I didn't take this one, but it was too fun not to post. They had a great Santa for the photos... the sort of person who just exudes good will, happiness and cheer.
