On Friday, I scoured the recipes on my computer to find something that would use the last of the basil before it started to wilt (and that hopefully contained ingredients I had on hand). I came up with the rather plainly descriptive Chicken with Fresh Tomato Sauce

Yes, I really do cook this way, at least some of the time. Especially when I've got something that's fairly straightforward and cooks mostly in one pot. So here's everything that went into the recipe, including fresh rosemary from a container on the front porch.

And here's the finished product! I served it over orzo, mostly because I happened to have some in the cupboard and it cooks up fairly quickly. It was surprisingly flavorful for being such a simple recipe. Definitely doing this one again.
